Its a Boy!

In a previous blog we showed you the pregnancy shoot of Keersten and Daniel. Now their beautiful baby boy Nakota has arrived and had his first photo shoot at one week old.. He was a very happy and content baby most of the time, but he did manage to wet both Mum and Dad during the shoot. We have added two of Daniels artworks to the first and last images. I Love these pregnancy shoots

There's love in the room or should I say in the studio. Another beautiful pregnant couple, locals Keersten and Daniel are 38 weeks pregnant, so we will be getting phone call any day now to do the baby shoot and I can't wait. What a gorgeous baby it will be. Good Luck guys. Daniel Romaine is a local artist and we photograph his work for advertisting and reproduction. It is one of Daniel's paintings we have used as an overlay on the last image.

A big day of Fashion Photography

Another amazing 11 hour day shooting fashion, my most favourite days ever. People everywhere, Makeup artist, Hair stylist, Assistants, Models, Art directors, Managers, oh yes and me and masses of gorgeous clothers. The smells of espresso and hairspray wafting through the studio, Its great fun but busy and a huge day of shooting to get through. We started off the shooting day at the old Majestic in Pomona for the campaign part of the shoot and then did all the catalogue work in our studio. Thanks to everyone involved for a great shoot.

We had lots of fun shooting this little fashion label for Zarianna. The custest range of little girls pettiskirts and tutus. Our model EvarJade was just gorgeous, all of 7 and already working it. Newborn Baby Shoot

The team and I thought we would share this shoot with you. It’s a little different from our usual newborn baby shoots but we had a brief from our client, and that was organic, arty, old worldy.

This is what we came up with! There are lots of symbols in these images, water- birth, triangle-protection, sharing-moving over, and more. These images will make up part of an A3 coffee table book to match their first book we did when their now two year old was a newborn. We love it when our families come back with their new little bundles.

Ballet Portfolio

Sandra Faye Photographer has been involved in some great portfolio sessions recently. None more so than the ballet porfolios she has been shooting for some of our local young ballet dancers on the coast. The two hour shoot incorporates a whole selection of different images, from simple effective portraits, to some more complex lighting and background shots for fine art portraits. These sessions are always lots of fun especially when hair and makeup is included in the preparation..Kimberlie had fun practicing some new found model poses and showing of her beautiful ballet moves. Well done Kimberlie.
